If you keep up with recent U.S. government hearings, you're likely aware that UFOs and UAPs have become some of the hottest topics of discussion. It seems Disney-Pixar has cleverly tapped into this rising buzz with their latest animated feature, which could be the makings of a blockbuster hit next summer.
Here's the newly released official teaser trailer for "Elio," the latest Pixar animated adventure-comedy. This time, the story centers on a young, space-obsessed boy named Elio. Having always dreamed of being abducted by aliens, Elio's wild imagination becomes a reality when he's accidentally transported to outer space. Mistaken for one of Earth's great leaders, Elio soon finds himself entangled in an alien congress where the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. Now, Elio must step up and represent on Earth's behalf, becoming humanity's greatest representative.
Directed by Adrian Molina, known for his work on Pixar's "Coco," along with Domee Shi ("Turning Red") and Madeline Sharafian ("Burrow") and produced by Mary Alice Drumm, "Elio" features a stellar voice cast including Zoe Saldana, ("Guardians of the Galaxy," "Avatar") as Olga, Elio's Aunt, while newcomer Yonas Kibreab ("Sweet Tooth") lends his voice to the titular character. The alien ensemble includes Jameela Jamil ("The Good Place") as the poised Ambassador Questa and Brad Garrett ("Everybody Loves Raymond") as the hilarious Ambassador Grigon. Zoe Saldana, Remy Edgerly, and Shirley Henderson round out the voice cast.
Seemingly packed with heart, humor, and cosmic wonder, "Elio" invites audiences on an intergalactic adventure of self-discovery and imagination. Mark your calendars for June 13, 2025, when the film lands in theaters.
