Chase Stokes and Lana Condor Team Up to Navigate Enemy Territory in Trailer for New Military Survival Thriller "Valiant One"
Trapped deep in enemy territory, two soldiers from vastly different backgrounds must team up to survive in the gripping military thriller Valiant One.
The film features two Netflix stars, Chase Stokes, known from the hit teen show "Outer Banks," and Lana Condor, from the hit "To All the Boys" film series.
The movie begins when a US Army helicopter crashes in the heart of North Korea, leaving the surviving soldiers stranded in extremely hostile territory. With serious casualties and their commanding officer critically injured, a young and inexperienced Army captain (Stokes), trained more for analyzing data than leading troops, is thrust into command for the first time in his life. Facing overwhelming odds, he must rely on the resourcefulness of a skilled Army Specialist (Condor) to navigate a dangerous escape route through a enemy-controlled forest.
The thriller also co-stars Desmin Borges, Callan Mulvey, Jonathan Whitesell, and Daniel Jun.
Directed by Steve Barnett in his feature directorial debut, "Valiant One" seemingly channels the intensity of military action thrillers like "Behind Enemy Lines," Guy Ritchie's "The Covenant," and "Land of Bad." Barnett, previously recognized for his producing work on hits such as "300," "The Spiderwick Chronicles," and "Land of the Dead," now steps into the director's chair, working from a script he cowrote with Eric Tipton.
"Valiant One" is set to debut in theaters on January 31st. Watch the trailer, above.
