“Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” Puts Ethan Hunt to the Ultimate Test
How many so-called "impossible" missions can one spy complete before the term loses all meaning? Let’s be honest—it’s more like Mission: Nearly Impossible. Sure, these missions are insanely dangerous, but when Ethan Hunt and his loyal IMF team put their heads together, they always find a way to pull off the impossible. That is, of course, if Ethan chooses to accept it.
But as we saw in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, Ethan is now facing his toughest opponent yet—an all-seeing, all-powerful A.I. known as The Entity. It has already calculated every probability, every outcome, and every possible way it could be destroyed—making Ethan’s mission truly impossible. The question is, can we trust him to finish the job... one last time?
Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt may be up against his most difficult challenge yet in this epic conclusion to the two-part saga that began with 2023’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning. And with the new title, The Final Reckoning, we’re not exactly confident that Ethan will make it out unscathed.
Once again directed by Christopher McQuarrie and featuring a stacked ensemble cast—including returning stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny—Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning hits theaters on May 23.
Expect plenty of heart-pounding stunts, high-wire action, and jaw-dropping spectacle as Tom Cruise proves once again why he’s the king of summer action cinema.

The dinosaurs might be bigger and meaner, but the goal remains the same: run as fast as you can!
Scarlett Johansson Faces Big Dinos in “Jurassic World Rebirth”
Check out the new official Super Bowl commercial for Jurassic World Rebirth, starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, and Rupert Friend.
In the film, Johansson plays a covert operations expert leading a team of researchers and scientists on a high-stakes mission to Isla Nublar—the former site of Jurassic Park’s research lab. Once under strict government control and completely off-limits, the island has since been abandoned, leaving the dinosaurs to reclaim it.
Now, it’s technically open—but only because "no one is stupid enough to go there." Well… almost no one. Johansson and her team must brave the dinosaur-infested island to retrieve rare DNA, a discovery that could lead to a medical breakthrough capable of curing deadly human diseases. That is, if they survive the island in one piece.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla) and written by David Koepp (Jurassic Park, The Lost World), Jurassic World Rebirth opens July 2.

Stitch Crashes the Super Bowl for Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch”
Disney has dropped a custom Super Bowl ad for Lilo & Stitch, featuring everyone’s favorite mischievous blue alien causing chaos on a football field while being chased by security guards.
The promo is yet another reminder that live-action remakes of animated classics are still very much a priority for studios. This time, Disney is reimagining the beloved 2002 film Lilo & Stitch for a new generation.
Directed by Marcel the Shell with Shoes On filmmaker Dean Fleischer Camp, this new take stars newcomer Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai, a young Hawaiian girl who forms an unbreakable bond with a small, mysterious blue creature named Stitch. Original voice actor/animator Chris Sanders returns to bring Stitch to life once again, alongside a cast that includes Sydney Elizabeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis.
Lilo & Stitch lands in theaters on May 23.
Move over, Tom Cruise—because Brad Pitt also feels the need for speed! Zoom! Zooom! Zoooom! Check out the newly released Super Bowl ad for F1.
Brad Pitt Puts the Pedal to the Metal in High-Octane Racing Drama “F1”
Since winning his Oscar for Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Brad Pitt has made several attempts to reignite the box office with major studio films. Some found success (Bullet Train), while others struggled to make an impact (Babylon, Wolfs). But now, the Pitt-meister might have his best shot yet at claiming the crown. And he’s taking a page straight out of Tom Cruise’s playbook—teaming up with Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski for a role that seems tailor-made for Cruise himself. Then again, Pitt has always excelled as the laid-back underdog.
In the upcoming Jerry Bruckheimer-produced racing drama F1, Pitt plays Sonny Hayes, a veteran Formula One driver determined to get back behind the wheel and prove he still has what it takes to be a World Champion. A little case of art imitating life? Perhaps.
But Sonny isn’t going it alone. He’s assembled a crew to fuel his comeback, including Javier Bardem as his close friend and team owner, Damson Idris as his rookie racing partner, and Kerry Condon as his newly recruited pit manager.
With F1 shaping up to be this year’s Top Gun: Maverick—a crowd-pleasing, cross-generational blockbuster led by a Hollywood veteran who’s been through the highs and lows of fame—expectations are sky-high. The film is set to hit theaters this summer, starting June 27.
Jack Quaid Feels No Pain in New Action-Comedy “Novocaine”
Hey, would you look at that—Super Bowl movie spots aren’t just for big studio blockbusters with A-list stars. Sometimes, studios use the spotlight to promote high-concept action films with the potential to become sleeper hits.
Case in point: this new uncensored Big Game commercial for the upcoming action-comedy Novocaine, a throwback to an era when action flicks blended dark comedy with over-the-top fun and featured everyday people caught in extreme situations.
In the film, Jack Quaid—best known for The Boys and recently seen in the dark horror comedy Companion—stars as Nathan Caine, a mild-mannered bank manager whose life takes a wild turn when he falls for a charming bank clerk (Amber Midthunder, from Hulu’s Prey). But when a gang of thieves robs his bank and kidnaps his new girlfriend, Nathan is forced into action. The twist? Nathan has a rare condition that makes him unable to feel pain. While not invincible, he can take a beating like no one else—and he’s willing to risk it all to get her back.
Co-starring Ray Nicholson, Jacob Batalon, Betty Gabriel, and Matt Walsh, and directed by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen (Villains), Novocaine arrives in theaters on March 14.
