Michael B. Jordan Faces Supernatural Terror in the Jim Crow South in Ryan Coogler's Upcoming Horror Thriller "Sinners" - Watch the Trailer!
For his fifth feature film, "Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler is venturing into the horror genre for the first time with an original story set during the Jim Crow-era South. Coogler is once again teaming up with his frequent star, Michael B. Jordan, marking their fourth collaboration as director and lead actor after "Fruitvale Station," "Creed," and "Black Panther."
Check out the first official trailer for Coogler's upcoming horror thriller "Sinners," where Michael B. Jordan takes on the dual roles of twin brothers who return to their hometown in the Jim Crow South for a business opportunity. However, upon their return, they discover that the place they once called home is not quite as they remembered. An ominous shroud hangs over the town, and during a nighttime gathering, one of the brothers finds himself trapped in a large barn with other locals as a terrifying supernatural force closes in around them. Is it the devil... or could it be something even worse?
"Sinners" is written and directed by Ryan Coogler, and the cast also includes Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods), Jack O'Connell (Godless, SAS: Rogue Heroes), Jayme Lawson (Til, The Woman King), Wunmi Mosaku (Lovecraft Country, Loki), Omar Benson Miller (Ballers), Hailee Steinfeld (Hawkeye, Bumblebee), Li Jun Li (Wu Assassins, Babylon), and Lola Kirke (Mozart in the Jungle).
"Sinners" is set to open in theaters on March 7, 2025.
