Reformed Animal Outlaws Face a New Challenge in Upcoming "Bad Guys" Sequel with Sam Rockwell, Danielle Brooks, Maria Bakalova, and Natasha Lyonne - Watch the Trailer!
The old gang is back for another caper. Check out the official trailer for "The Bad Guys," the upcoming sequel to DreamWorks Animation's hit animated heist action comedy about a crackerjack crew of animal outlaws who are now reformed and billed as good guys.
In this sequel, set a year after the events of the original film based on Aaron Blabey's best-selling illustrated children's book, the old crew is pulled back into the game for a new globe-trotting heist masterminded by a new team of animal criminals, all led by female thieves known as "The Bad Girls."
Sam Rockwell returns as the voice of Mr. Wolf. Joining him are returning voice cast members, Marc Maron as safe-cracker Mr. Snake, Craig Robinson as master-of-disguise Mr. Shark, Anthony Ramos as Mr. Piranha, and Awkwafina as hacker Ms. Tarantula, aka "Webs."
Meanwhile, new voices joining the franchise include Danielle Brooks as Bad Girls leader Kitty Kat, a dangerously clever snow leopard; Maria Bakalova as Pigtail, a brilliant Bulgarian wild boar engineer; and Natasha Lyonne as Doom, a wry raven with a knack for deception. Also returning to the sequel are Zazie Beetz as Governor Diane Foxington, Richard Ayoade as Professor Marmalade, Alex Borstein as Police Chief (now Commissioner) Misty Luggins, and Lilly Singh as sensationalist reporter Tiffany Fluffit.
Directed by Pierre Perifel and produced by Damon Ross, with JP Sans handling co-directing duties, "The Bad Guys 2" is coming to theaters next year in the summer of 2025. Watch the trailer above.
