Oscars Nominations 2025: Watch Trailers and Clips for the Latest Oscar Nominees
Explore the newly announced Oscar nominees with trailers and clips, and get ready for the big movie night in March!
So, it's that time of year when cinephiles everywhere gather to see which films have been nominated for the Academy Awards. It's a time-honored tradition for these newly Oscar-nominated films to bask in the spotlight, but also to have their worth debated online.
Who got snubbed? Which film is a lock to win? Who slid in just under the radar? Wait, why the hell did that get nominated? Yes, that's my favorite movie of the year, but does it stand a chance? These are the types of questions we’ll be hearing until the awards show in March.
And with the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles still ongoing, though hopefully fully contained soon, new Oscar host Conan O'Brien finds himself in a really tough spot this year. Does he even mention the tragedy during his monologue— we suppose he would have to, right? Could he joke about it? Probably not. But if we know Conan, he will somehow find a way to be extremely self-effacing, drawing the laughs at his expense to get a quick chuckle from the audience.
Leading up to this morning's announcement of the Academy Award nominations, Hollywood insiders have mostly agreed that there’s no clear frontrunner this year. Meaning anything can happen this time around. Aside from a few categories, it’s all up for grabs. But does that mean we can expect some dark horse wins? Well, that would certainly make for a fun broadcast. However, reading the tea leaves, it’s likely to be a night of a few surprises but mostly what we expected. Still, the tense anticipation will definitely fill up the auditorium. Like we said, anything can happen.
We’ve put together a list of trailers and clips to accompany the recently announced Oscar nominations. After all, that's what we do here at The Movie Box—bring you the trailers. And we know not all of you have had the chance to watch every nominated film this year.
So, take a look at the trailers and clips below and decide which film or performance you want to catch up on before the 97th Oscars, which will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 2nd, at 7 p.m. EST, 4 p.m. PST. You've still got plenty of time to become that Oscar movie completist! So, enjoy!
