Tom Cruise Returns for the Ultimate High-Stakes Conclusion to Ethan Hunt's Saga in First Teaser Trailer for "Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning"

This time around, Ethan Hunt and his loyal team of IMF agents must obtain the cruciform key to control the Entity, a highly advanced AI digital program that has become self-aware and, with its self-learning capabilities, has managed to manipulate events to gain ultimate global power. Ethan must stop and destroy the Entity before it can achieve its goal of world domination. Ethan jets around the world, doing all kinds of death-defying feats as he faces a string of double agents and assassins to restore balance to the world. Yet, this might be the mission too great for Ethan, forcing him to confront some of his greatest fears -- the possible demise of some of his closest friends, not to mention himself.

With cast members Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny returning, "The Final Reckoning" may be Ethan Hunt's final mission and the final time we see Tom Cruise in this iconic role.

Filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie once again directs, co-writing the screenplay with "Dead Reckoning" scribe Erik Jendresen.

"Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning" is set to hit theaters everywhere on May 23, 2025.
