Check out the official teaser trailer for "How To Train Your Dragon," the upcoming live-action adaptation of the hit DreamWorks Animation film, in which Mason Thames (from "The Black Phone") takes on the role of Hiccup, and Toothless is now a CGI-animated dragon creature made with hyper-real animated technology.
Dean DeBlois, the Oscar-nominated DreamWorks animator who helmed the animated franchise, makes his live-action directorial debut. DeBlois also wrote the screenplay and produced the remake alongside Oscar-nominee Marc Platt ("La La Land") and Emmy-winner Adam Siegel ("Drive").
Mason Thames and Gerard Butler are joined by a cast of talented supporting players, including Nico Parker as Astrid Hofferson, Nick Frost as Gobber the Belch, Julian Dennison as Fishlegs Ingerman, Gabriel Howell as Snotlout Jorgenson, Bronwyn James as Ruffnut Thorston, Harry Trevaldwyn as Tuffnut Thorston, and Ruth Codd as Phlegma, with Peter Serafinowicz and Murray McArthur.
