Barry Keoghan & Christopher Abbott Face Off in Teaser Trailer for New Irish Revenge Thriller "Bring Them Down" with Colm Meaney & Nora-Jane Noone
Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott square off in this new gritty Irish revenge thriller "Bring Them Down," for which an official teaser trailer has been released.
Marking the feature film debut of writer-director Chris Andrews, the thriller delves into the escalating feud between an Irish shepherding family and a rival farmer. Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott portray characters on opposite sides of the conflict. And from what we can see from the trailer, Keoghan and Abbott bring a certain level of intensity to this unfolding drama.
Veteran Irish character actor Colm Meaney ("Star Trek: The Next Generation," "Hell on Wheels") co-stars alongside Nora-Jane Noone ("The Descent"), Paul Ready ("Utopia"), and Susan Lynch ("Waking Ned Devine").
"Bring Them Down" debuted to mostly positive reviews back in September at the Toronto International Film Festival. Since then, filmmaker Chris Andrews has been nominated for Best Debut Director at this year's British Independent Film Awards.
The film is slated to open in U.S. theaters on February 6th. It will also debut on the streaming platform MUBI after its theatrical run.
