Bob Trevino Likes It is a bittersweet coming-of-age dramedy based on the true story of Lily Trevino, a young woman with a strained relationship with her emotionally abusive father, Bob. Fed up with his mind games and absenteeism, Lily turns to Facebook in a desperate attempt to contact him. Instead, she stumbles upon the account of another Bob Trevino, a random family man who seems like a warm-hearted guy. Lily soon strikes up a relationship with this other Bob Trevino, who turns out to be the father figure she has always longed for.

Barbie Ferreira, one of the breakout actresses from HBO's Euphoria, stars as Lily Trevino, a young woman searching for a loving father, only to find good fortune when she stumbles upon one on Facebook. (And we don’t mean she found a "sugar daddy," get your head out of the gutter).

Veteran character actor/comedian John Leguizamo (The Menu, John Wick) plays Bob Trevino, the good one. He's a happily married man who never tried having children after losing one at birth decades ago. So, in a way, he has been looking for someone like Lily, too.

Meanwhile, French Stewart (from 3rd Rock from the Sun) co-stars as Lily's biological father, the bad and terrible Bob Trevino.

Texas-based filmmaker Tracie Laymon writes and directs the upcoming film. This marks her feature debut, which earned strong reviews when the film premiered at the SXSW Film Festival last year. The movie also picked up the Festival's Grand Jury Award and Audience Award, which tells us that it has the potential to be a breakout hit this year.

Bob Trevino Likes It costars Rachel Bay Jones and is coming to select theaters on March 21st.
