A 13-year-old nomadic Mongolian girl breaks a century-year-old tradition when she is taught the skill of eagle hunting.

Check out a new trailer for the critically acclaimed documentary "The Eagle Huntress" about the life of a remarkable young woman named Aisholpan, who is well on her way to becoming a master eagle hunter; the first woman in her culture to do so.

Directed by Otto Bell and executive produced by Morgan Spurlock, the documentary, which premiered to rave reviews at Sundance this year, features narration by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" star Daisy Ridley.

"The Eagle Huntress" is slated to open this week in New York and Los Angeles on November 2; rolling out to other cities across the country throughout the month.

THE EAGLE HUNTRESS follows Aisholpan, a 13-year-old girl, as she trains to become the first female in twelve generations of her Kazakh family to become an eagle hunter, and rises to the pinnacle of a tradition that has been handed down from father to son for centuries.

Set against the breathtaking expanse of the Mongolian steppe, THE EAGLE HUNTRESS features some of the most awe-inspiring cinematography ever captured in a documentary, giving this intimate tale of a young girl’s quest the dramatic force of an epic narrative film.
