Acclaimed Hong Kong action director Benny Chan and legendary action choreographer Sammo Hung have teamed up to deliver an old-school kung-fu movie about the epic battle between a powerful, evil warlord and the defenders of an oppressed village.

Check out the trailer for "Call of Heroes," a Chinese period action film that's boasting a strong cast of Asian action stars that includes Louis Koo (Drug War), Sean Lau (Mad Detective), and Eddie Peng (The Great Wall) with a special appearance from Wu Jing (Shaolin).

"Call of Heroes" is coming to VOD on November 8 with a Blu-ray and DVD release set for December 6.

synopsis:
Louis Koo stars as Cao, the spoiled son of a powerful General who has grown into a vicious and depraved warlord. Although Cao is accused of triple murder, his father will destroy the town if his son is convicted and sentenced to death. But injustice cannot go unanswered, and the villagers prepare for the repercussions of punishing a guilty man.
