Mad Max: Fury Road - Blood and Chrome Edition — Sneak Peek Featurette

"Mad Max: Fury Road" has been such a huge hit that Warner Bros is planning to re-release an alternative version of the action-packed blockbuster in December. This time, the film will be shown entirely without color.

"Mad Max" creator/filmmaker George Miller explains his unorthodox reasoning for the new black-and-white cut of "Fury Road" in a newly-released sneak peek clip from the upcoming Blu-ray Disc, which is called the "Blood and Chrome Edition."

Since working on the post-production of "Road Warrior," Miller has always wanted his "Mad Max" films to have a monochromatic look. He explains in the above clip that the abstract quality of black-and-white somehow makes the film more iconic. Now after overseeing the brand-new "Fury Road" cut, Miller states it's the "best version of the movie." He adds, "It'd be interesting to see if you (the viewer) agree."

Mad Max: Fury Road - Blood and Chrome Edition is due out on Tuesday, December 6.
