Craig Roberts has a difficult time figuring out his plans for the future in the trailer for the forthcoming Season 2 of Amazon's 1980s-set coming-of-age comedy series "Red Oaks."
The comedy-drama follows David Meyers (played by Roberts), a confused suburban college student in New Jersey who spends the summer working as an assistant tennis pro at the exclusive Red Oaks Country Club. After deciding not to go back to college, David scrambles to find a proper profession, while his friends at Red Oaks (Ennis Esmer and Oliver Cooper) are on their own summer quest for happiness.
The series is created by screenwriter Joe Gangemi (Stonehearst Asylum) and Steven Soderbergh's longtime producer Gregory Jacobs (Behind the Candelabra, The Knick), who recently directed "Magic Mike XXL."
"Red Oaks" also stars 80s icon Jennifer Grey and comedian Richard Kind as David's divorced parents. While the rest of the cast includes Paul Reiser, Alexandra Turshen, Alexandra Socha, Gina Gershon, Jessica Hecht, and John Hodgman.
"Red Oaks: Season 2" is set to premiere Friday, November 11. Season 1 is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.
