Marvel has released a couple of new "Doctor Strange" promos. There's a brand-new TV spot that mentions the Avengers. And there's also a brand-new featurette that explains how the film's visual design is directly influenced by the artwork of legendary comic book artist Steve Ditko.
"Doctor Strange," set to hit theaters November 4, stars Benedict Cumberbatch as a neurosurgeon who, after a career-ending accident, dedicates his life to mastering the Mystic Arts. The film has been a longtime passion project for Marvel Studios producer and "Doctor Strange" superfan Kevin Feige, who's really excited about bringing life to Ditko's comic book illustrations: "We are now able to take what (Ditko) put in the mid-60s, these trippy comic panels and comic covers. And we now have the technology to put that into big three-dimensional space on a movie screen. It's amazing."
