Now that history has been altered, are you ready for our world to change in the most disturbing way imaginable? Well, it seems Amazon's "The Man in the High Castle" is promising some huge world-changing ideas -- as well as some history-changing shockers -- when it returns with an all-new season in December. And the streaming company has just released an official trailer for the show's much-awaited Season Two.

The critically acclaimed 1960s-set drama, which is based on author Philip K. Dick's novel about an alternate history where the Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan have defeated the United States in WWII and have now divided America into three regions (the "Japanese Pacific States" in the west, the "Greater Nazi Reich" in the east and the "Neutral Zone" in the middle), stars Alexa Davalos, Luke Kleintank, Rufus Sewell, Rupert Evans, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa.

Meanwhile, Bella Heathcote (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) and Callum Keith Rennie (Battlestar Galactica) have joined the second season cast of the Frank Spotnitz-created drama, which comes from executive producer Ridley Scott.

"The Man in the High Castle: Season 2" is due to premiere Friday, December 16 on Amazon Prime.
