Timemasters, dinosaurs, samurais, zombie civil war soldiers, Albert Einstein, and the Justice Society of America!

Yep, you can expect things to get a whole lot weirder and funnier when those crazy time-traveling superheroes from "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" return next week with all-new episodes. Until then, you can check out this new extended trailer for the much-awaited second season, which just proves that time isn't something you should mess with. 'Cause you might be forced to kidnap your greatest childhood hero just to undo the damage you may have caused.

Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Dominic Purcell, Victor Garber, and Franz Drameh are the main stars of the series, which serves as a bridge to every DC superhero show on the CW (which now includes Supergirl).

Season 2 is bringing in a couple of main villains from "Arrow" and "The Flash," namely Malcolm Merlyn (played by John Barrowman), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), and Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher). The Legends team also appears to be adding a new member: Vixen, a character that had already appeared in "Arrow" but is now played by a new actress, Maisie Richardson-Sellers.

The new season will also introduce viewers to the comic book-based team, Justice Society of America (led by "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams), described in the above trailer as "the single, greatest secret force this country has ever known."

Johnathon Schaech will be returning as Jonah Hex for an episode or two, while sci-fi icon Lance Henriksen has been added to the cast of Season 2, which is set to premiere next Thursday, October 13.

synopsis:
As the world crumbles, the Time Master Rip Hunter takes matters into his own hands -- he travels 150 years into the past to assemble a carefully selected team of heroes and rogues, who together will be ... Legends.
