Milla Jovovich is armed to the teeth as she rides through a post-apocalyptic, zombie creature-infested wasteland in the new full-length trailer for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."
As you can tell from the title, the film is the six and final installment of the video game-based franchise, in which Jovovich plays Alice, a zombie-slaying soldier who has made it her mission to bring down the evil Umbrella Corporation, the bioengineering pharmaceutical company responsible for the zombie apocalypse.
Written and directed by franchise originator Paul W.S. Anderson, "The Final Chapter" finds Alice returning to Raccoon City as she rounds up a small army of survivors for one last, final assault. The mission is to destroy Umbrella's main underground headquarters -- and "kill every last one of them."
Ali Larter, Iain Glen, and Shawn Roberts are among the returning cast members while Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, and Korean pop star Lee Joon-gi have been added to the mix.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will ride into theaters on January 27, 2017.

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice (Milla Jovovich) is the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity's final stand against the undead.
