The EPIX network has released the full-length trailer for the Germany-set espionage series "Berlin Station," starring Richard Armitage, of "The Hobbit" and TV's "Hannibal" fame, as a brilliant CIA analyst who, on his first undercover assignment, is tasked with determining the identity of a potential CIA mole working in Berlin.

The 10-episode cable series is created by best-selling spy novelist Olen Steinhauer (The Tourist), in which acclaimed Belgian director Michael R. Roskam (The Drop, Bullhead) is directing the first two episodes. Roskam is also serving as an executive producer on the series, which also stars Rhys Ifans, Michelle Forbes, Leland Orser, Tamlyn Tomita, and Richard Jenkins.

"Berlin Station" is slated to premiere on Sunday, October 16 on the EPIX network. Meanwhile, internet viewers can watch the first two episodes for free, right now, on epix.com or youtube.com.

synopsis:
Follows Daniel Meyer/Miller (Richard Armitage), who has just arrived at the CIA foreign station in Berlin, Germany. Meyer has a clandestine mission: to uncover the source of a leak who has supplied information to a now-famous whistleblower named Thomas Shaw. Guided by veteran Hector DeJean (Rhys Ifans), Daniel learns to contend with the rough-and-tumble world of the field agent: agent-running, deception, the dangers and moral compromises.
