A Tibetan guard dog (voiced by Luke Wilson) travels to the big city to realize his dream of becoming a rock-n-roll guitar player. Here's the trailer for "Rock Dog," an animated adventure movie about how anyone can go after their dreams -- even dogs.

The 3D film, produced by Chinese studio Huayi Brothers, features a voice cast that includes Luke Wilson, Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons, comedian Lewis Black, SNL member Kenan Thompson, Mae Whitman, Jorge Garcia, and Matt Dillon with British comedian Eddie Izzard as the voice of a Mick Jagger/Keith Richards-type rockstar cat, named Angus Scattergood and "The Big Lebowski" actor Sam Elliott as a Tibetan yak, named -- wait for it -- Fleetwood Yak.

Helmed by "Surf's Up" and "Toy Story 2" co-director Ash Brannon, "Rock Dog" will be arriving in theaters February 24, 2017.

synopsis:
When a radio falls from the sky into the hands of a wide-eyed Tibetan Mastiff, he leaves home to fulfill his dream of becoming a musician, setting into motion a series of completely unexpected events.
