It looks like falling in love in the time of war doesn't always end well -- especially for spies! Check out a new teaser trailer for Robert Zemeckis' upcoming WWII spy drama "Allied," starring Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard as two international assassins that fall in love after completing their mission, but soon find out that staying married to one another might end up being impossible.

This second 60-second teaser shows new footage of US intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt) and French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) completing their mission in taking out a rising Nazi leader during a dinner party, then making a daring escape as husband and wife. The two spies eventually fall in love and decide to get married for real this time, but things go awry when Max finds out that Marianne might still be on the job.

Based on true events and written by Steven Knight (Eastern Promises, Dirty Pretty Things) and directed by Robert Zemeckis (The Walk, Flight), the film also stars Lizzy Caplan, Matthew Goode, and Jared Harris.

"Allied" invades theaters this Thanksgiving Weekend, beginning on November 23rd.

ALLIED is the story of intelligence officer Max Vatan (Pitt), who in 1942 North Africa encounters French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Cotillard) on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Reunited in London, their relationship is threatened by the extreme pressures of the war.
