Dog Eat Dog — International Trailer

Nicolas Cage and Willem Dafoe kill a whole lot of people as they try to snatch a baby in the new international trailer for the darkly comic and ultra-violent crime thriller "Dog Eat Dog."

Centering on three career criminals (Cage, Dafoe, and Christopher Matthew Cook) who agree to kidnap the infant baby of a local Cleveland mobster for a huge score, the film is based on the 1995 novel by the late, crime writer and famed ex-convict Edward Bunker (Straight Time, Animal Factory, Runaway Train).

Paul Schrader, the 70-year-old maverick filmmaker behind "American Gigolo," "Hardcore," and "Auto Focus," but who is most widely known for writing Martin Scorsese's classic films "Taxi Driver" and "Raging Bull," directs this deeply depraved crime caper, which co-stars Louisa Krause (Showtime's Billions), Reynaldo Gallegos (TV's Sons of Anarchy), and Omar J. Dorsey (TV's Queen Sugar).

"Dog Eat Dog" screened earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival. It will also be shown at this weekend's Fantastic Fest, and will be released officially on November 4th.

DOG EAT DOG is a gritty contemporary crime thriller about a trio of ex-cons, deep in the underbelly of Cleveland, who are hired for a kidnapping. When the botched abduction goes awry and gets completely out of control, the cons find themselves on the run, vowing to stay out of prison at all costs.
