Supergirl is coming to the CW network, and it appears she has invited her famous flying cousin to join her.

Check out a trailer for the new season of "Supergirl," in which the Kryptonian superheroine (played here by Glee's Melissa Benoist) will be teaming up with her cousin, Superman (played by new cast member, Teen Wolf's Tyler Hoechlin), who is a character that was mentioned but not seen in the previously released first season.

Originally aired on CBS but was later relocated to the CW to join the rest of the DC Comics-based TV universe (which includes Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow), "Supergirl: Season 2" will premiere Monday, October 10.

Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul Cat Grant. However, Kara's days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw, head of a super-secret agency, enlists her to help protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats.
