Owen Wilson and Ed Helms star as fraternal twin brothers who have to stick together through thick and thin when they find out that they are actually "bastards!" And that their mother was lying to them about their father this whole time. Check out the first trailer for Wilson and Helms' new comedy "Father Figures" (formerly-titled "Bastards,") which will be arriving in theaters early next year.

On the night of their mother's wedding day, Peter and Kyle Reynolds (Helms and Wilson) find out that their mother (Glenn Close) has been keeping a big secret from them their entire lives: Their father did not die from cancer. And in fact, she doesn't even know who their father actually is.

Their father is either the intimidating tough guy Roland Hunt (played by Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons) or Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw (as himself). The twins leave on a quest to find out who their real father is and just who the hell their mother really was back then.

Making his directorial debut is veteran cinematographer Lawrence Sher (War Dogs, The Hangover Trilogy, Garden State) with a screenplay by Justin Malen (Office Christmas Party, Baywatch). The film also co-stars Katt Williams, June Squibb, Kate Aselton, and Ving Rhames.

"Bastards" is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on January 27, 2017.
