Check out the first teaser trailer for "Headshot," a new ultra-violent action thriller that features the bone-crushing talents of Indonesian martial arts sensation Iko Uwais, best known for starring in the epic actioner "The Raid" and it's 2014 sequel.
The film, which tells of an amnesiac man (Uwais) who wakes up in the hospital with a severe head injury, only to discover later that ruthless assassins want him dead, comes from Indonesian genre filmmakers Timo Tjahjanto and Kimo Stamboel, who are sometimes referred to as "The Mo Brothers." They previously wrote and directed 2014's horror-crime thriller "Killers" and 2009's horror-slasher thriller "Macabre."
Destined to become a favorite among hardcore action fans, "Headshot" is set to make its world premiere this week at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of the Midnight Madness program.
The film is also scheduled to open in Indonesia in December, with a U.S. release to follow in early 2017. Watch the teaser, above.
