From Asif Kapadia and James Gay-Rees, the producers of the Oscar-winning documentary "Amy," comes a definitive look at one of Britain's most celebrated (and notorious) rock bands in history: the iconic '90s rock group Oasis, best known for their Beatles-inspired, chart-topping hits "Wonderwall," "Don't Look Back in Anger," and "Champagne Supernova."

Directed by Mat Whitecross, the co-director of Michael Winterbottom's 2006 docudrama "The Road to Guantanamo" and the director of 'The Stone Roses' movie "Spike Island," "Supersonic" chronicles the history of the British band, as well as the contentious, and at times, hostile relationship of its sibling founders, Noel and Liam Gallagher, both of whom served as narrators.

Though as of yet it doesn't have a U.S. release date, "Supersonic" will be released in the U.K. with a special live satellite event on October 2 before becoming available on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download October 31. In the meantime, you can check out the international trailer, above.
