Actor Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, 2010's A Nightmare on Elm Street) fancies himself a filmmaker these days. He writes and directs his second feature, a psychological horror thriller called "Jack Goes Home," which stars former kid actor Rory Culkin, who is the youngest of the Culkin brothers (Macaulay and Kieran) and perhaps better known for co-starring in M. Night Shyamalan's "Signs."

In a newly-released trailer, we see Culkin as the title character, Jack, who is a troubled young man. After learning his father was killed in a car accident, Jack returns to his childhood home to grieve. But things take a dark turn when Jack starts to hear strange voices coming from the attic.

The film also features appearances by Britt Robertson, Lin Shaye, Daveigh Chase, Natasha Lyonne, Nikki Reed, and Louis Hunter

"Jack Goes Home" will be arriving in theaters and VOD on October 11.
