A middle-aged slacker (Nick Kroll) is having a tough time keeping up with his visually challenged brother (Adam Scott) in the debut trailer for the SXSW-Winning comedy "My Blind Brother," which also stars Jenny Slate.

The film centers on two competitive brothers who find themselves fighting over the same girl (played by Slate). When Rose reluctantly agrees to help prepare the athletic, yet visually impaired Rob (Scott) for an upcoming swimming competition, Rob's brother, Bill (Kroll), sadly starts to once again have feelings for her, as she is the woman who ended their all-too-brief relationship years ago.

The indie comedy is written and directed by first-time feature filmmaker Sophie Goodhart, and it also stars Zoe Kazan as Rose's best friend Francie and Charlie Hewson as the local blind drug dealer.

"My Blind Brother" is due to open in select theaters on September 23.
