Renee Zellweger realizes her dream of helping a "poor wise man" in the debut trailer for the upcoming faith-based drama "Same Kind of Different as Me," which also stars Greg Kinnear, Djimon Hounsou, and Jon Voight.

Zellweger, who will be seen next month in the romantic comedy sequel "Bridget Jones's Baby," stars as the wife of an art dealer (Kinnear), who starts volunteering at a local homeless shelter after dreaming about a mysterious man who she believes will "change the city." That person turns out to be an elderly homeless African-American man (Hounsou), who, despite having different cultural backgrounds, eventually becomes Zellweger and Kinnear's dear friend.

Based on a true story, the film is the adaptation of the best-selling faith-based book written by art dealer Ron Hall and his ex-homeless friend, Denver Moore, with a collaboration credit by "Heaven Is for Real" author Lynn Vincent.

Directed by first-time filmmaker Michael Carney, "Same Kind of Different as Me" is slated to hit theaters on February 3, 2017.
