Apparently, the three young would-be criminals in the upcoming horror thriller "Don't Breathe" have made a huge mistake when deciding to break into a blind man's house to steal his money. It's a gigantic blunder. Some might even call it a colossal error in judgment. But "Goosebumps" star Dylan Minnette, playing one of the badly beaten burglars, appears to speak from the heart when describing his poor judgment: "I really f--ked up ... reeeaaally f--ked up."

And just in case you didn't get that point, Minnette repeats that line over and over again in a new red band trailer for the twisted home-invasion horror, which hails from producer Sam Raimi and Uruguayan horror director Fede Alvarez, who are the filmmakers behind the "Evil Dead" remake.

In addition to Minnette, Jane Levy (Suburgatory) and Daniel Zovatto (Fear the Walking Dead) play the other two doomed housebreakers, while "Avatar" actor Stephen Lang is the formidable blind man who can smell fear like some kind of rabid dog.

"Don't Breathe" opens August 26.
