Tom Hanks is caught in a whirlwind of conspiracy and terror as he tries to stop an "extinction-level event" in a new 60-second preview for "Inferno," the latest chapter in director Ron Howard's mystery-thriller franchise that's based on Robert Langdon's best-selling book series.
Hanks reprises his role as Robert Langdon, the famed symbologist, who travels around the world to unravel the greatest unsolved mysteries known to man. This time, however, Langdon takes on something that's a little more delicate: his own foggy memory concerning a stolen Dante face and a dead man's evil plot to wipe out humanity.
Also starring Felicity Jones, Ben Foster, Irrfan Khan, and Omar Sy, "Inferno" opens everywhere on October 28.

Academy Award-winner Ron Howard returns to direct the latest bestseller in Dan Brown's (Da Vinci Code) billion-dollar Robert Langdon series, Inferno, which finds the famous symbologist (again played by Tom Hanks) on a trail of clues tied to the great Dante himself. When Langdon wakes up in an Italian hospital with amnesia, he teams up with Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), a doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories. Together, they race across Europe and against the clock to foil a deadly global plot.
