James Caan doesn't seem to scare easily. But that doesn't stop two teenage punks (Logan Miller and Keir Gilchrist) from playing a cruel trick on the 76-year-old veteran actor in the upcoming surveillance horror "The Good Neighbor."

Concept artist and art director Kasra Farahani makes his directorial debut with this prank-gone-wrong thriller about two reckless high schoolers -- played by Miller (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse) and Gilchrist (It Follows) -- who try to fool their cranky old neighbor (Caan) into thinking his house is haunted by evil spirits. The thing is, the boys' so-called "experiment" goes astray when surveillance cameras reveal what their "creepy psycho" neighbor is truly like behind closed doors.

Previously titled "The Waiting" when it premiered at this year's SXSW Film Festival, "The Good Neighbor" co-stars Laura Innes, Edwin Hodge, Mindy Sterling, Lili Reinhart, and Tamlyn Tomita. It's set to hit theaters on September 16.

synopsis:
In THE GOOD NEIGHBOR, a pair of mischievous high school kids (Keir Gilchrist and Logan Miller) create the illusion of a haunting on an unsuspecting neighbor (James Caan). While keeping his every reaction under surveillance, they see much more than they bargained for.
