Here's a sneak peek clip from Woody Allen's much-talked-about series for Amazon, in which Allen not only creates, writes and directs his very first serialized comedy but co-stars as well.

Set in the turbulent 1960s and revolves around a suburban family, "Crisis in Six Scenes" sees Allen as Sidney Munsinger, a struggling novelist who, apparently, would like to have his barber (played here by Max Casella) to give him a James Dean hairdo: "you know, trim a little and take a little off the top."

The six-episode comedy will feature an ensemble cast that includes Allen, Casella, Miley Cyrus, Rachel Brosnahan, Elaine May, Lewis Black, John Magaro, David Harbour, Michael Rapaport, and Joy Behar.

"Crisis in Six Scenes" is set to premiere Friday, September 30 exclusively on Amazon, which is also the company that's currently handling the release of Allen's latest film "Cafe Society" with Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, and Steve Carell.
