It's a crime noir with a psychic twist. Set in the seedy underworld of Los Angeles, where tarot card readers, fortune tellers, and soothsayers belong to an organized crime syndicate.

Check out the first teaser trailer for "Shut Eye," Hulu's new original series, starring Jeffrey Donovan (Fargo, Burn Notice), Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet, Joy), KaDee Strickland (Secrets and Lies), David Zayas (Dexter), Emmanuelle Chriqui (Murder in the First), and Angus Sampson (Insidious).

Donovan plays a former magician-turned- crooked medium who "starts believing in his own tricks" after being plagued by strange prophetic visions. His new gifts start to have an adverse effect on his mob-run business.

The ten-episode series is created by "Extant" producer Les Bohem, who also created and wrote the 2002 Emmy-winning sci-fi mini-series "Taken."

"Shut Eye" is set to premiere on Wednesday, December 7, exclusively on Hulu.

Charlie's wife Linda (KaDee Strickland) is sick and tired of their mediocre life and wants to break away from Fonso (Angus Sampson), the single father who runs the Marks family's psychic empire, and controls the Haverford's future.
