Zelda Williams is the 27-year-old daughter of the late comedian Robin Williams. She is also an up-and-coming actress who currently co-stars in Freeform's horror series "Dead of Summer," and will be next seen in Lifetime's upcoming based-on-a-true-story thriller "Girl in the Box."

The first trailer for the new cable movie has dropped, and it shows Zelda as Janice Hooker, the wife-and-accomplice of Cameron Hooker, who abducted a 24-year-old hitchhiker, named Colleen Stan, and held her captive for seven years between 1977 and 1984.

Written and directed by Stephen Kemp, "Girl in the Box" also stars Zane Holtz (From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series) as the sadistic abductor Cameron Hooker and Addison Timlin (Californication) as his abductee, Colleen Stan, who was put in chains and locked inside a large wooden box that was kept under his bed.

"Girl in the Box" is set to premiere on Saturday, September 10 on the Lifetime network.

synopsis:
Based on a true story, Girl in the Box is a dark psychological drama. In May 1977, 22-year-old Colleen Stan was kidnapped by a young married couple, Cameron and Janice Hooker. For the next seven years they kept her imprisoned for up to 23 hours a day in a coffin-sized box hidden beneath their bed. When not incarcerated, Colleen became part of a strange new life as a live-in slave, family child-minder, and victim of Cameron’s bizarre and extreme S&M fantasies.
