If you believed ancient folklore, white storks are responsible for delivering human babies to their parents. But what if the birds grew tired of that type of work and decided to move into the shipping business, specifically transporting mail packages for a global Internet company.
That's the basic setup of "Storks," an upcoming animated comedy that features the voice of comedian Andy Samberg as a stork named Junior who's days away from taking over his father's shipping company, only to stumble on an old baby-making machine. Now Junior needs to clean the mess he made by delivering a newborn baby to its rightful parents.
Check out a newly released trailer for the animated movie, which also stars the voices of Jennifer Aniston, Kelsey Grammar, Katie Crown, Ty Burrell, Danny Trejo, Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
"Neighbors" and "Neighbors 2" director Nicholas Stoller wrote "Storks" and co-directed the film with animator Doug Sweetland. It's set to open September 23rd.

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior, the company's top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world.
