Netflix has released the first footage from the upcoming "Gilmore Girls" revival, which brings back the cult series for a special four-part event.

Created and written by Amy Sherman-Palladino and set in a small fictional town in Connecticut, the revival will consist of four 90-minute-long episodes, and continues to explore the unconventional, yet close-knit mother-daughter relationship of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, once again played by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel.

Also directed by Amy Sherman-Palladino with her husband and producing partner Daniel Palladino, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" has been penciled in for a November 25 release date, the day after Thanksgiving.
