It's the film that launched Gary Oldman's movie career. And the film that turned writer-director Alex Cox (Repo Man) into one of the most influential filmmakers of his era.
Check out the trailer for the forthcoming 30th-Anniversary release of the cult British punk classic "Sid & Nancy," which tells the tragic love story of Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious (played by Oldman, in a breakout performance) and his American girlfriend Nancy Spungen (Chloe Webb, of "Twins" and "China Beach" fame).
The newly-restored 1986 film will be back in theaters in the UK on August 5, with a Blu-Ray and DVD release set for August 29. As of yet, there is no word on whether or not it will be released in the States.
