Benedict Cumberbatch finds himself immersed in the multidimensional world of the mystic arts in the new full-length trailer for Marvel's newest comic-book movie "Doctor Strange."

The preview, which premiered to convention-goers today at San Diego Comic-Con, offers some new glimpses of Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange, a brilliant neurosurgeon who loses his ability to perform surgeries after surviving a terrible car crash.

However, Strange finds a new life purpose when he becomes the eager protege of an ethereal sage, called The Ancient One (played by a bald-headed Tilda Swinton). As a consequence, he is introduced to a whole new world, where up is down and down is up -- and sometimes, up and down just fold into each other like one giant M.C. Escher drawing.

Also starring Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Benedict Wong, and Mads Mikkelsen as the movie's main villain, the film is directed by horror filmmaker Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Deliver Us from Evil) and will be coming to theaters later this year, on November 4th.

In Doctor Strange, famous neurosurgeon Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) suffers career-ending injuries in a devastating car crash. Seeking help in the furthest reaches of the world, Strange uncovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions!
