AMC has released a brand-new Comic-Con trailer for "Preacher," the offbeat supernatural horror series based on writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon's cult 1990s comic book, which stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, and Joseph Gilgun as three unlikely friends -- a preacher, an assassin and an Irish vampire -- who go searching for God to either help him or "kick his ass."

Executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg and showrun by "Breaking Bad" producer Sam Catlin, the series will be wrapping up its first 10-episode season next week.

The show, which also stars W. Earl Brown, Jackie Earle Haley, Ian Colletti, Lucy Griffiths, Tom Brooke, and Anatol Yusef, has already been renewed for a second season, which is set to return in 2017.

Preacher is the story of Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper, Agent Carter), a conflicted preacher in a small Texas town who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Jesse, his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun, This Is England) embark on a journey to, literally, find God.
