Moana — International Teaser

A new international teaser trailer for "Moana," Disney's Polynesian-inspired animated musical, offers a look at the titular princess as a young tyke.

In the upcoming film, Princess Moana is voiced by 14-year-old newcomer Auli'i Cravalho. But in this teaser clip, we see Moana as a wide-eyed toddler as she encounters the magical spirit of the South Pacific Ocean in a delightful beach sequence.

"Moana" is coming from the same creative team that made the Disney classics "The Little Mermaid" and "Aladdin." And it will also feature the voice of action star Dwayne Johnson as a legendary but now-forgotten demi-god, who goes by the name Maui. He helps Princess Moana on her quest to save her people as she attempts to live up to her family's legacy.

"Moana" will be arriving in theaters November 23.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped -- and no one today knows why.

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes "Moana," a sweeping, CG-animated adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfill her ancestors' unfinished quest. During her journey, she meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.
