Stepping into the ring one last time is Oscar-winner Robert De Niro, this time, to portray the legendary boxing trainer Ray Arcel in the new biopic "Hands of Stone." Check out a new full-length trailer for the film which also stars Edgar Ramirez as Panamanian prizefighter Roberto Duran.

The film will tell the story of a rising boxer who caught the eye of a legendary trainer that saw an undeniable talent that forced him to come out of retirement and train the fighter to become one of the greatest boxers of all time. The film will also focus on the back-to-back Welterweight Championship battles with American boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard (played by R&B artist Usher Raymond IV).

Written and directed by Venezuelan helmer Jonathan Jakubowicz ("Secuestro Express"), the film also co-stars Ellen Barkin, John Turturro, Ana de Armas, Reg E. Cathey, Oscar Jaenada, Jurnee Smollett-Bell and Ruben Blades as Duran's former manager/promoter Carlos Eleta, who gave the fighter the nickname "Manos de Piedra" ("Hands of Stone").

"Hands of Stone" is set to hit theaters on August 26.

synopsis:
HANDS OF STONE follows the life of Roberto Duran (Edgar Ramirez), the Panamanian fighter who made his professional debut in 1968 as a 16 year‐old and retired in 2002 at the age of 50. In June 1980, he defeated Sugar Ray Leonard (Usher Raymond) to capture the WBC welterweight title, but shocked the boxing world by returning to his corner in their November rematch, famously saying the words "no mas" (no more.)
