Two leaders of a highly organized gang of bank robbers begin to turn on each other when a carefully planned heist goes awry. That's the basic gist of "To Steal from a Thief," a Spanish-language bank robbery thriller, which will receive a limited theatrical release in the U.S. next month.

Directed by Barcelona-born action helmer Daniel Calparsoro (Combustion, Invader) from a script written by Alex de la Iglesia's longtime screenwriting partner Jorge Guerricaechevarria (Witching and Bitching, The Perfect Crime), the slick crime film stars Luis Tosar (Sleep Tight), Rodrigo De la Serna (The Motorcycle Diaries), Raul Arevalo (Marshland), Marian Alvarez (Wounded), and Jose Coronado (No Rest for the Wicked).

A box-office smash in its native Spain, "To Steal from a Thief" will be released in select U.S. theaters beginning August 5th.
