And now for your moment of Zen. Check out the awesomely insane trailer for the upcoming Chinese fantasy actioner "League of Gods," which is boasting a strong Asian cast that includes Jet Li, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Fan Bingbing, Angelababy, Louis Koo, Wen Zhang and Jacky Heung. Although, it appears the wild and colorful cast of computer-generated characters may very well be the real stars of this eye candy of a movie.

Loosely based on "The Investiture of The Gods," a 16th-century Chinese novel, the big-budget film draws on supernatural and fantastical elements from Chinese mythology to tell the story of a league of super-powered warriors who have banded together to overthrow a corrupt empire.

Directed by visual effects artist-turned-first-time feature film director Koan Hui, "League of Gods" is set to open worldwide on July 29th. The film will be released across the U.S. in AMC theatres. For exact theatre locations, check out the film's official website at leagueofgodsmovie.com.

synopsis:
A long time ago, a determined King Zhou, supported by his concubine Daji, sets his mind on conquering the Middle Kingdom. After years of slaughter, the unyielding Adept tribes have been eliminated in succession. Jiang and General Ji from Qishan are King Zhou’s longstanding opponents. Under a divinatory sign, Jiang discovers that the Sword of Light can reverse the adversity.
