Alicia Silverstone and former "True Blood" star Ryan Kwanten play a divorcing couple fighting a different type of custody battle in the newly-released trailer for the light-hearted comedy "Who Gets the Dog?"

Directed by indie filmmaker Huck Botko (Bad Johnson, Mail Order Wife), the film follows the comedic aftermath of a couple who've chosen to end their marriage, but both want the sole custody of their beloved labrador retriever.

Co-starring Amy J. Carle, Randall Batinkoff, Danny Rhodes and Rachel Cerda, "Who Gets the Dog?" will be released on Digital HD and DVD on September 27.

Alicia Silverstone and Ryan Kwanten star in this heartfelt romantic comedy about who gets their adorable Labrador once their marriage goes to the dogs. Six years after saying "I do," Olive (Silverstone) and Clay (Kwanten) call it quits. And although they split amicably, both want custody of their beloved dog Wesley.
