In the upcoming "Star Trek Beyond," Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) may be facing his toughest challenge yet. After a surprise attack by the villainous Krall (Idris Elba), Kirk is left with "no ship and no crew." However, he does have one thing going for him: Jaylah! She's a badass alien warrior (played by Sofia Boutella), who can single-handedly take out an entire gang of armed assailants with a couple of leg kicks and punches. She also likes Earth music -- because of the "beats and shouting!"
You can now check out a couple of brand-new "Star Trek Beyond" promos, featuring Jaylah and her no-holds-barred attitude, before the film arrives in theaters next week on July 22.
