The long-running pulp novel series by "Road to Perdition" author Max Allan Collins comes to life in a new original drama for Cinemax, starring Logan Marshall-Green (Prometheus, The Invitation) as an emotionally distraught Vietnam Vet who starts a new career as a professional hitman.
Developed and showrun by "Rectify" writers Michael D. Fuller and Graham Gordy, "Quarry" is the latest scripted series launched by Cinemax, which has begun to step out of the shadow of its parent company, HBO, with such critically acclaimed hits as "The Kick," "Outcast" and "Banshee."
Greenlit for eight episodes, "Quarry," which is being directed and executive produced by Emmy-winning TV helmer Greg Yaitanes (Banshee, House M.D.), also stars Peter Mullan (Top of the Lake), Damon Herriman (Justified), Jodi Balfour (Bomb Girls), Jamie Hector (The Strain), and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Luther).

synopsis:
'Quarry' is the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River.
