War can make a man do terrible things. But war can also make a disturbed mercenary feel right at home.

Check out a newly-released international trailer for the gritty thriller "Tiger Raid," about two Irish mercenaries who are hired to kidnap the daughter of a wealthy Middle Eastern man in war-torn Iraq.

Marking the feature directorial debut of commercial helmer and adman Simon Dixon, "Tiger Raid" stars Irish actors Brian Gleeson (son of Brendan and brother of Domhnall) and Damien Molony (Ripper Street) as two emotionally-traumatized soldiers of fortune.

Former dancer-turned-"Kingsman"-actress Sofia Boutella, who can be seen later this month in "Star Trek Beyond," co-stars as the kidnapped Middle Eastern woman in what is essentially a tightly wound, three-person thriller.

"Tiger Raid" made its world premiere at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The film will be released in UK cinemas later in the year.

synopsis:
TIGER RAID tells the story of two mercenaries, bound together by a job, haunted by demons from their pasts, and unable to face the truth of who they are. Joe and Paddy are members of a private security crew working in the Middle East. They have been assigned to kidnap the daughter of a powerful man as part of a major robbery -- a Tiger Raid. We meet them as they travel through the inhospitable desert on their way to execute the raid.
