Jonah Hill and Miles Teller turn high-powered guns into a highly lucrative business in the brand-new trailer for "War Dogs."

Todd Phillips, the director of "The Hangover" trilogy, helms this stranger-than-fiction dramedy, which recounts the bizarre but true story of how two Miami Beach dropouts -- David Packouz (Teller) and Efraim Diveroli (Hill) -- land themselves a $300 million deal with the Pentagon to supply high-powered assault rifles and ammunition to American-allied Afghan forces during the Iraq War in 2007.

The film, which is based on journalist Guy Lawson's 2011 Rolling Stone article, also co-stars Ana de Armas (Knock Knock), Shaun Toub (Iron Man), and Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects) with a special appearance by Bradley Cooper as a mysterious international gun dealer.

"War Dogs" will be hitting theaters August 19th.

synopsis:
Based on a true story, “War Dogs” follows two friends in their early 20s (Hill and Teller) living in Miami Beach during the Iraq War who exploit a little-known government initiative that allows small businesses to bid on U.S. Military contracts. Starting small, they begin raking in big money and are living the high life. But the pair gets in over their heads when they land a 300 million dollar deal to arm the Afghan Military -- a deal that puts them in business with some very shady people, not the least of which turns out to be the U.S. Government.
