A pseudo-bachelor party merely becomes an excuse for a weekend-long celebration of male debauchery in the debut trailer for "Joshy," the new ensemble indie comedy starring Silicon Valley's Thomas Middleditch, The Mindy Project's Adam Pally, The League's Nick Kroll, director Alex Ross Perry (Listen Up Philip), and Another Period's Brett Gelman -- with appearances by Jenny Slate, Aubrey Plaza, Lauren Graham, and filmmaker Joe Swanberg.

The film, which premiered earlier this year at Sundance where it was acquired by both Lionsgate and the streaming company Hulu, was written and directed by Jeff Baena, who is perhaps better known for co-writing David O. Russell's "I Heart Huckabees" and writing and directing 2014's my-girlfriend-is-a-zombie comedy "Life After Beth."

"Joshy" will be released on August 12.
